MRRKCH was founded by Amsterdam based journalist Tess van Daelen (don’t let her looks deceive you; she might be Dutch, she feels Moroccan at heart). Her whole life she’s been fascinated by Morocco and its culture. When she tuned into fashion at a young age she discovered how one of her favoriete designers Yves Saint Laurent lived in Marrakech and drew endless inspirations from the “Ochre City”. From that moment on she fell in love with it too. Having visited Marrakech dozens of times, owning a home away from home in the upcoming area of Bouakkaz and even having in laws living all over town, Tess knows all the ins & outs of this magical place.
